Our attitude to the worldwide "recession"

Here's what our Managing Director had to say on the topic after reading an article in Anthill Magazine

"After a heated discussion with our lawyers we decided it probably best not to begin making money this year. We figured that if we don’t get arrested for the production of it we’d be investigated for actually having too much.

We then settled on the fact that it is in our interest to ‘earn’ money instead… mmm but how?

The only way to beat the recession is clearly to ignore it. Spend time and money - don’t save. Don’t buy into it. Don’t take a break with the rest of the world. Knuckle down, spend money and graft while those that mentally bow to the pressure (perceived or otherwise) are taking their seemingly hard earned break - and be ready for it when they go back to class.

The time is now. Businesses must look hard at where competing doesn’t make sense and focus on strategies and difference that defines who they are, how they spend and even how much time their managers spend on writing comments in reply to the uncountable stories and editorials documenting the recession… On that note we’re almost off to work again.

What a pristine opportunity we have to begin a new idea, venture or business, or to simply restructure an existing one effectively. Test waters, sales techniques, management procedures and a few of those seemingly silly off-the-cuff ideas you had but didn’t have time for while it was too busy - You have time now. You will be ready to shoot out the other side when the world decides to start jogging again."
